Alanica is a forum that has taken place annually in Vladikavkaz for the last eight years. It is a venue for both Russian (Taus Makhacheva, Vladimir Nasedkin) and foreign (Eshim Agaoglu) artists who work with the local context but take a broad sociocultural view.
