The cultural codes of modern Russia in large souvenir magnets by Alexey Batalov.
Alexey Batalov's paintings and objects are a variation on souvenirs of Russia. Instead of the usual matryoshkas and balalaikas, Batalov thinks that the new cultural codes of modern Russia should be Kalashnikov rifles, the ax from "Crime and Punishment" and the letter "yat" from the old Cyrillic alphabet.
