Facing the Emptiness
A collective of street artists that plays with the memes and clichés of mass culture.
The Zeart group is famous in Ekaterinburg as a collective of street artists, but for this show they have produced paintings and other gallery works that play with clichés in mass culture. A hammer and sickle is printed on the chest of the Statue of Liberty, while rats form the shape of a five-pointed star.
