Unofficial Language
The personal histories of artists as reflected in their urban routines.
“Unofficial Language” will show more than 30 young Moscow-based artists with diverse backgrounds and professional experience who work in different media and with various topics. Every artist who lives in Moscow interacts with its environment and organizes personal relations with urban space. Daily routines become a part of their biographies which is inevitably embedded in the fabric of the surrounding social universe. Seen via routines of urban life, these personal histories are in the centre of the current project of Department of Research Arts.
