Using items from his family archive, Tony Oursler has created a phantasmagorical his- tory of the last two centuries, combining digital technologies and occultism. "Imponderable" is a captivating, 5D film in which a 19th-century device called Pepper's ghost is supplemented with an array of modern special effects.
