The Centre Pompidou has opened itself up to the nonconformist rebels — William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac — who took postwar America, and eventually the rest of the world, by storm. In addition to works created by the Beats in a variety of genres, there will be literary readings, performances, concerts and films.
