More than 20 provincial Russian museums have contributed around 100 works by leading lights and lesser-known artists of the Russian avant-garde, from Malevich and Kandinsky to Viktor Bart and Alexey Morgunov, to tell the story of the movement from the mid-1900s to 1918.
