Since it was founded in 1993, this gallery has organized around 200 exhibitions, with a special focus on installations, video art and media art. It collaborates with major Russian museums and is one of the most famous Russian galleries in the West. XL participates at art fairs including Frieze, ArtHK, Art Basel, FIAC, The Armory Show and ARCO.
