Konstantin Rudakov (1891–1949)

A solo show for an artist who illustrated French novels and depicted early Soviet businesspeople for satirical magazines.

Rudakov was a student of Pavel Chistyakov and followed in the footsteps of Paul Gavarni and J.J. Grandville. He convinced several generations of readers that Eugene Onegin, Hamlet and Don Quixote looked exactly as he depicted them.
