Moscow Museum of Modern Art on Petrovka

Founded in 1999, the MMOMA has now become one of the most visible players on the Moscow art scene. Its permanent exhibition, which is constantly being updated (and is thus often full of surprises), includes works of Russian art from the avant-garde epoch of the 1920s to pieces by artists working today. 

The third Monday of each month — closed.

The third Sunday of each month admission is free.

Ticket for all museum sites — 500 rubles.
